I can no longer remember that exchange but at the time I also didn't think it was something that would cause her to leave but you did just remind me that a new nic did show up that I though was Mira because of the way she worded things and at one point I said something like, "your Mira is showing", I was just kidding but that nic also disappeared after I posted that, so I take it back, I no longer think something happened to her. Mira if you're still out there, come on back !

Agree on Mira. MD pointed me to the last known exchange with her participation. MD thought maybe she took offense at something in the thread, but it seemed pretty innocuous to me, and Mira was pretty cool-headed. It was all the way back in March 2016. MD said that after that she would occasionally see cameras in the recently viewed feed that were some that Mira particularly enjoyed, so she thought maybe Mira had switched to lurking. But nobody ever did hear from her again, sadly. She was clever and a great contributor.

Mira left so suddenly that I really do think something happened to her and it's sad that we'll never know. Last night when I did a search for this place I search for universaries in La Jolla area and just came across San Diego universaries and if I had taken the time to read any of that info, I would have seen that it's located in La Jolla ! so I just now did another search and even though I didn't come up with this view, there were quite a few buildings that have the same look as the one on the left.

I think, N Q, it was between your stints here. We talked recipes for a long time. I think it was Arizona Sue, Trix, MD, and I. And maybe Mira before she left. I do wish she would come back!

Homely with the cams slowing disappearing, I'm sure that's why people disappeared and it'll take a while before people will come back because once they leave they forget about the cams but if they are like me, they check in occasionally and when they do, they'll come back. I've told a couple friends about the cams but they aren't chatters but they are into looking at the cams.

I'll take a look at it after dark. My first thought was also a college campus. Maybe some sort of club - but the fronts of those buildings look like storefronts. It's a strange little development! Also, I'm sad that nobody is coming to join in this little game with us. I think maybe when OT started we were still close enough to the old BBS era that folks were accustomed to participating with one another on the cams like this. Maybe I should start posting recipes again!

Homely do you have any idea what this place is, it has signs that light up at night on the right side and the building on the left has lights on in every window at night and I see people walking on the sidewalk at times. My first thought a college campus but I can't find any colleges in La Jolla, second thought is part of a shopping mall due to the lit signs and lights on in the building or maybe it's an office building with shopping across from it. This cam only works on Refreshing pictures for me.
