LOL, I got a laugh out of their "Before there was Social media, everybody looked up at the banners". They're right, I do remember a few flying over my town probably back in the 60s. It was interesting to see how they picked up the banner on lift off, I sorta assume it was attached before they took off.

Well, N Q, ask and you shall receive! There's a small local airport that is the home of the banner planes. Here is a link to their business, and they even have a video showing how they get the banners aloft. My dad flew in and out of that airport a lot when I was little and I used to love watching those guys pick up and run off with those banners!

As I read this, I'm watching an airplane fly by with a banner behind it, I wonder what they're advertising. It's not very busy today but it definitely looks nice and without the massive crowds it would be a nice day to be there. The weekend crowd hasn't gotten there yet. Today is a thunderstorm day for me which is nice because we need the rain and it's brought cooler temps in the 60s with it, which I'm loving !

WOW, I always thought Ocean beaches were always free, I knew that parking might be something you need to pay for, but not beach access.

It's a free access beach - you pay to park, but you don't have to buy a license to access the beach like you do in places such as Long Beach Island. And the Boardwalk is very entertaining people watching!

It is! We used to go in there when I was a kid - I saw that little corner of it and immediately knew what it was!
