Could be, it's one big dog!

Mira there's a weird white glow to the top of this dog so it's hard to tell for sure if it's a Akita-Inu. Those dogs normally have the tail up in the air and that white glare makes it impossible to see the tail but it sure looks like a Akita-Inu.

They are really beautiful dogs !

You're probably right MD ... and with your previous job you'd know better than I.  ;)  Maybe it's another one of those rather soulless kennels that seem to crop up everywhere ... you did see a dog.  :)
