I do find it wonderful the local electric company use higher technology on thier electric grid, Ours would never use it, as it would deter from thier strait line. sigh, yup a shame,  this has been known for over 50 years

(They cause the lightening to jump across and to ground at the loop, it doesnt run any farther)
