Trix, when we moved to France we had a lot of junk to get rid of from our "new" house. We're sure that, after we viewed, the old lady's relatives filled the place up with stuff that they didn't want. On his first trip to the dump, my husband came back with more than he set out with, including an old lawn mower. And we didn't have a blade of grass! LOL

Trix, I never did it personally, back in the UK, but plenty of people did.  :)  My hubby was also what he calls a "dumpster diver" once, here in the US.  Hey, it's recycling ... nothing wrong with that!  :)

hey Mira Bilis..have you heard the saying "one mans rubbish is another mans treasures"?...i was just wondering if people in the UK go dump picking like we do here...please don't take offense...i'm just wondering...
