We celebrate the end of the old year and then tomorrow we celebrate the start of the new one. I sometimes enjoy it more than Christmas. And I could kick myself over Dona's birthday. I sent her a Christmas card ....... I could have put a birthday card in with it. I miss her comme...

Absolutely pouring. Bj is working until 9pm so I have another 2 hours for it to ease up. I shall go .... no matter what the weather is doing. I love New Year. We have a celebratory dinner ...... just like Christmas but with no gifts to buy. :D

That seems to be the thing with doctors. We are happy to go along ...... not interfering with anything, not seeking treatment until we feel the need. Then wham bam!!!! They're not content to just treat the bits we want ...... they insist on finding as much as they can. Diabolic...

He was silly to let it go on for so long but I'm a fine one to talk ........ I'd have kept away from hospital for as long as I could. Hopefully he will benefit from that rehab. You can't be expected to struggle with picking him up all the time.

In hubby's eyes he's top priority. I just hope it doesn't make him think he can leave the hospital without treatment. I can imagine how you are enjoying all this me-time. :D

Good morning Trix ...... it's 48F here with very strong winds and pouring rain. I prefer that to what you have although I'll probably get soaked walking down to BJ's. I'm staying there until Tuesday. The longer it takes for surgery .... the better. :D

Seems that 1963 was cold ...... I was still at school and I don't remember it being too bad. In 2009 and 2010 this place was cut off by the snow but it wasn't too cold. The steep hills just weren't passable with snow on them. The year BJ was born ..... we had heavy snow in Marc...

That's too cold for me. I've just checked here and the temp is 54F ...... and it's 1.30am. It should be colder than that but I'm not complaining. They say we are in for a bad day tomorrow ..... typical ..... I'm going to BJ's so we can see in the new year.
