I just Googled. A cat scan is about half the cost of an MRI but I wonder if it has anything to do with the metal inside hubby. I gather it's possible to have an MRI with metal bits included but I think a cat scan must be safer ...... it's only a glorified x-ray. I'd be so nervo...
