I suppose there could be a placebo effect. Personally ..... if someone stuck needles into me .... I don't think it would make me feel better. It's good for him to get out of the house ..... even if it is to be a temporary pin cushion. And there's always the chance he'll bring som...

LOL....foot hasn't been numb for a long time...I had forgotten about that. I don't really think it does him any good but I tell him to keep going because I'm sure it's not an overnight fix, plus I do need time to myself!! I had to get him ready for his appointment!
