I guess that is why so many hikers get caught off guard. They start out in beautiful sunny weather at low altitude then get overtaken by bad weather as they reach a much higher elevation.

Squalid for sure. There is a business below her apt, if I remember correctly. Maybe she is being evicted, ugh. I don't know what happens legally in S Korea if neighbors complain about vermin and smell.

Rain Shadow I was stationed at a radar site on a maountain top in the Black Hills of Wyoming (Sundance). I arrived there on my birthday in July and it ws snowing!!! I know this part of the country!

Yes, it's quite chaotic...wet dog food and chicken for the dog, the cats don't get along, so I feed one in the back bedroom, and one in the laundry room, then super worms and chopped fresh veggies for thi lizard, THEN I get to make my breakfast...but seriously, losing my dear fri...
