hubby would not agree that it would be such an easy fix as a can of drano....and what could a plumber do that he can't????
Oh dear, so it sounds like you will need industrial strength Drano or else call a plumber. (I was joking about the plumber as your husband no doubt believes he can "fix" it himself.)
Trix, has he not heard of 'Drano' products? Or, a cheaper and potentially more environmentally friendly solution is to use baking soda & vinegar (I can testify this has worked for me in the past.)
I never knew that about sucking up the water. It looks as though the UK is going to have some bad weather.

MD....I've been watching TV about the hurricane....I never knew....the beaches are empty of water....Irma sucked it all up and will return it when she gets there with probably triple the amount!
