Lizardmomma ...... you are made for retirement! It is all about enjoying the simple things. I had a glass of wine with my meal that cost almost as much as my main course but it was so worth it. I set out for lunch at 11.45 and got home at 5pm. It was a darned good lunch. LOL

Hi MD....that's oone of the many things I'm looking forward to, many of my friends are already retired, so I will be able to go to lunches with them, maybe even have a beer or two while I'm at it. The simple things in life-I want to enjoy them all!

I had what was on the menu as a root vegetable crown with potato wedges and peas. The "crown" was a selection of carrots, parsnips and swede baked in a pie. It was lovely light flakey pastry. I had ice cream for dessert. Very filling. And yes ..... he is entertaining but I don't...
