First batch of lake effect snow overnight here. I am about an hour west of here. We had a record high temperature of 74 degrees on Friday, now it's in the 30's with 40 mph winds. Lake Erie is sure angry right now.

I grew up in Painesville, Oh., about 100 yards from Lake Erie, I know what the winters are like there. Also worked for the Geauga Co. Sheriff's office in 1976, my first day of work it snowed 2 feet, it took over 1 1/2 hrs. to travel fom Burton to Thompson.
