Rain Shadow ..... I've often seen vehicles towing trailers with snowmobiles on board. I don't think you'll see them on the road because it seems to be illegal. I couldn't find specific details for Sweden but everything I've read says no riding on the road. This is what Norway has...

I am always surprised that we do not see people using snowmobiles or dog sleds more often in the Arjeplog area, given the amount of snow they get every year.
