I couldn't find Rodmin at all ..... and R and B are sooo similar. I hope Dona comes back on today. As I said yesterday .... if she needs to let off steam or have a good rant ... this is the place to do it. She knows she has our backing and support.

the lady who has the pictures of my g-dad and the home in Sweden...her g-mothers 1st hubby was my g-dads brother...he died at the age of 31 from pneumonia. I did find her g-mothers name in my records!!

it sure makes sense to me that Bodmin and Rodmin would be mis-read, especially when reading old papers and hand written documents!! I hope dona is alright...she sure has a lot on her plate to deal with!!

Good morning MD.....I did see a map that showed the area and how close it is to you...I'm telling you...we must be cousins :) I am so excited to see the home my g-grandparents lived in but I sure wish my mom was here to see it too...I have a enamel dish...more like a cereal bowl ...

Oh My Goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A picture of the family homestead. I'd be ecstatic!!! No Rodmin Parish in the UK but there is Bodmin Parish. I just can't believe how much history is coming to light. Absolutely fantastic. :D

MD....I found it....I found the book online...The ******* in America...about my moms grandfather....apparently they were Dutch and came to England in 1567-68...that may be why I have more Scandinavian than she does!!!! does that make sense??
