Good morning MD....it seems so unfair that people, in this day and age, have a problem gaining weight...I would assume there may be people out there who "eat like a bird"...well, look in a mirror, we are not birds!!!

It was a 3 week cruise .... she was ok for the first 2 weeks. She was already a thin person and she can't seem to put the weight back on. I certainly don't have that trouble. LOL!!!

Talk about "trash talking"...the Vermonters didn't want the French Canadians or the Irish on these farms...so in 1890 a man left and went to Sweden to pick up the first of the families coming to Vermont...my grandparents were in this group with 2 children...this trip was paid for...

MD....my mom always thought the family came here from Sweden because Gram had family here.....not so!!!! In 1887, Vermont started a program to bring Swedes into the state to bring "abandoned farms" up to standards and into production again...they sent booklets to Varmland telling...
