I agree about the drapes. Don't settle for anything you're not really happy with. They would just irritate you every time you looked at them. If you had window boxes you could always put a sprinkling of pepper or curry powder or chilli powder. Cats definitely do not like it. One ...

The hairdresser had a window box filled with hyacinths ..... wide open and the perfume from them was lovely. There are flowers everywhere and blossom - but no proper leaves on the trees. A Susan in your cellar ...... everyone would want one.  :D

PS....zulily cancelled my livingroom drapes....problems with the company, I guess!!!  it took me a year to find drapes that I like in my price range....so the search continues!!!
