Can you just picture how "President Trump" would treat all those on benefits ... no doubt the same way he already treats the disabled, ethnic minorities and women.

Hi Homely ..... I hope we get to see good things. I don't think I'll ever forget that disaster ..... those poor parents trying to wake up the youngsters. I have my fingers crossed that things go well this year.

Fingers crossed that our visitors from last fall did the tidying up in anticipation of returning in March/April when the time comes! We need to keep a hopeful watch over this one :-)

$700 is not a lot at all. When my son was unemployed he got £57 per week. Out of that he had to pay all bills and buy food. Obviously that was not enough. I really don't know how they work out the benefits but I can see why families are better off without work.

okay!!! they would get free medical here but food stamps also...my daughter w/kids get almost $700.00 a month in food stamps...thats for 3 people!!!!

I don't understand how they work it out. My time on benefits was 1983-1986 and things have obviously changed. I can see why people don't want to work if they can get benefits ..... that amount is more than the average wage. So in the US .... $600 means you are too rich for health...

OMG....i read that they all get the same amount of money....here what you get depends on how many are in the family...and elderly rarely get it because they have their social security retirement money!!!! MD...i was turned down for health insurance because my monthly income is $...

I was on welfare for 3 years. It gave me enough to tick over but not enough to do repairs. The kids got free uniforms and free school dinners ..... which they found embarrassing. I was grateful for what they gave me. My son left school on a Friday and started work the next Monday...

I would have thought worn floors were important. I can remember after my first hubby left ...... the floorboards upstairs were in a bad condition ... underneath fitted carpet. When the kids and I found a new spot that creaked and sagged badly .... we put a cuddly toy to identify ...

i will call the inspectors back in for another inspection as soon as the alarms are in and new switches in kitchen and bathroom and the chimney is repaired and the out flow pipe to the furnace is done....those are "safty" issues!!!! worn floors are not safty issues!!!
