Good morning Trix ....... and a Happy New Year. I got absolutely drenched getting home. My dry-cleaned coat is soaking wet .... even the lining is wet. So now I'm thinking that maybe instead of dry-cleaning I can just put it in the washing machine. Now for some chocolates to brin...

Hi NQ .... Happy New Year! I don't touch coke .... I've never been a fan but sugar free cherry is my absolute favourite. I didn't get to try the Jim Beam Red Stag ..... I thought it would clash with tequila ...... the cocktails were delicious.

Indigo .... I believe they do an excellent single malt on Islay. I'm not an expert on it but my daughter likes whisky. Her tipple to ring in the new year was Jim Beam Red Stag.

I'm from Scotland originally, a town in Ayrshire. I left Scotland in 1974, married a Swede, then lived in Sweden for eighteen years before moving to the USA. Been here for twentythree years now.

BJ's place did have water flood in ... back in 2000 ... but it was caused by a blocked drain. It hasn't happened since ..... fingers crossed.

With what I can see and hear from my window .... it's going to get a lot worse. I hope there's a break in it later for me to get to BJ's. Doesn't matter about coming back. I can stay until Spring! LOL
