Silver Squirrel ..... Spain is well worth a visit. We used to live just north of the Spanish border and often nipped to Barcelona  for a long weekend. When we moved round the coast to nearer the Italian border - we missed Spain so used to spend the winter months there. Spanish ho...

Good morning Trix ........ I have a lovely pork loin joint and boneless turkey breast. At one point my mother and I had a transport cafe. I was always used to cooking large portions of everything. It sounds silly but it's much easier cooking lots than little. I've just opened tho...

We only got 2" of snow while 50 miles south got 6"-8" , we are glad that it faded out before it got here. I am glad as I cant (or should say) not suppose to shovel it but do anyway.

I can't be bothered to cook meat, fish or fowl just for me. That's why BJ makes such a fuss. I don't eat eggs either. I get my protein from chickpeas, beans and lentils. When I have cottage pie it's one of Tesco's microwave jobs. I have salads with tinned tuna. Cooking for one is...

MD · Dec 28, 2015 23:39
Tomorrow I'm off to get turkey and pork so BJ and I can have a slap up meal on New year's eve. I don't usually eat much meat but I can make an exception! I hope you don't get so much snow but I hope the pork loin appears as forecast.   :D
