I usually just put my head on the pillow and I'm away but last night ..... my mind wouldn't shut down. We still have that Storm Barney here ..... strong winds and pouring rain. I'm glad I'm in for the day with my trusty chocolate for company. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

good morning MD....i had trouble getting on opentopia too....i thought maybe they had no power....did you lose power? i saw pictures of the damage done by the storm, and there are leaves on the rails again causing delays!!!!!

These people are so lucky to have a decent winter with plenty of snow on the ground...can only hope that UK as a good hard winter for a change this year.We shall see.

Not so bad then ...... just the basics. 2 and a half hours without power seems like forever. Those 4 hour power cuts in the 70's used to drive me crazy .... our house was all electric.
