Oh, dear, just saw this thread on the main screen. I'm so sorry to see about Trix. MD, you were so lovely and provided so much help and comfort from such a long distance away.

Hi, MD - He is on hiatus with the gigs. The two favorite roadhouses where they played burned down, one in 2017 and one just about a year ago, and he took that as a sign. We always thought both were tinderboxes and we'd be in big trouble if there were ever a fire. Fortunately, bot...

Hahaha! We get a lot of phone scamming in the UK.  It always amazes me that people believe what they are told on the phone. I get quite a few repeat random calls.  I Google to see who it is then put the details in my phone so that I know the origins ... or oranges.  I label them ...

At least I'd have an intelligent conversation.   LOL Doesn't matter, cell or landline, everything's available for scamming. http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0208-phone-scams

Oh my gosh .... how bizarre.   I also never answer the phone if I don't know who it is.  I've heard of scams where ... if you answer ..... there's the possibility that you can be charged a fantastic amount on your phone bill.  I only use a cell phone.  However ..... it must be so...

I have an interesting situation.......here in the States we are bombarded with scam phone calls, fake names and phone #' showing up on caller IDs, etc.  Now, it's possible for these scam artists to grab actual names and numbers which appear as authentic calls.  So I never answer ...

She didn't want to find out too much about how ill she really was so I would Google whatever she said was troubling her and find the most acceptable answers.  I did a lot of research.   It really is a shame about granddaughter but the daughter who lived with Trix took her out a l...

I agree with everything you say....she was badly shaken, understandably so, by Mal's death.  I was just thinking of her young granddaughter who came to visit often.  First to lose her mother, then her Gran. You were such a good friend to her, encouraging and keeping her engaged. ...

I've just emailed Indigo to let him know.  He used to chat with us until most of his favorite cams disappeared. Back to Trix .... she kept her sense of humor despite everything.  The daughter who lived with her is going to feel lost.  A sad time for all of the family.  I think Ma...

I shall really miss her.  We hit it off from her first comment. My friend of 50 years died on the 1st and now Trix.  But realistically  ... I knew the prognosis was bad.  There is only an 8%  chance of survival with pancreatic cancer,  plus she had tumors on her lung.  She put up...

Hi Homely  ...... lovely to hear from you.  Yes ..... take what you can get and make the most of it  ..... they will soon be leaving the nest.  I've been sharing their progress for at least 8 years.  That time has gone by so quickly.  Does hubby still do gigs?

Good morning, MD! I hope you are primed and ready for the holidays! We are looking forward to having both kids home for a little bit, though DS has a new job working at a ski area and will go back early to do that, and DD has to be back on campus for sport training and only gets ...
