Mira .... I'll have to try Grey Goose. Just read up on it ..... distilled in Cognac, France. I've been there. You can get tipsy on the fumes!! It's £38 in Tesco and is described as a liqueur. And that puzzle will be taxing ...... just what I need. Thanks.

Mira ..... as well as being relatively cheap .... Tesco often has good offers. I used to have the odd bottle of Absolut but once I'd tried Russian Standard ... it made Absolut seem "thin." Russian Standard is more like a liqueur. I don't often drink it ..... medication sometimes...

Good choices MD ... she's lucky that quality Scotch whisky is relatively cheap in the UK compared to over here. I love the occasional glass but you have to take out a second mortgage here to buy a decent one! :/ My fave vodka is Absolut, with all its funky flavours. ;)

Mira ..... Isle of Jura, Talisker or Glenfiddich. The one she was mixing with peppermint was Famous Grouse. I'm not a whisky person so I wouldn't know the difference but I do like Russian Standard Vodka and Ricard ...... not mixed!!!!!!
