Hi Sven ..... thank you for the information. I missed watching them assemble the Ferris wheel but I'll certainly watch them take it down. A lot of work goes into it. And of course ....... I like watching the funfair. :D

Mira .... We have grey skies and rain is forecast. There is a prog about 9/11 at 10pm tonight..... in the UK . I'm not sure I shall watch it. I can't believe how the years have flown since then. And so many changes in our lives - especially for you. :D

w_d ..... I never thought of dragonflies having a season. I know mayflies do! :D In France ... we were not far from the Camargue ... where they grow rice. I seem to remember it liked a lot of water but half a metre in 2 days is a bit too much. :))
