Hi Nancy ..... 22nd September last year .... Nelly cam had proper snow. I have too many favourites to mention. We are so lucky to have Opentopia. In summer we can always find somewhere with snow and when we are fed up of snow ..... we can always find sunny cams. :D

Nancy ..... on 14th September last year I saw a few snow flakes ...... then on 22nd September Bill Dude spotted real snow.

Mira ... we had parasol pines and those cones certainly land heavily. Fun to watch the squirrels when they seem to have an argument or play tag with another squirrel. I bet the squirrels sometimes go on the bird table. What a lovely outlook you have there.

Plenty of Douglas squirrels MD. At the moment they're stocking up for winter. They go up high in the spruce and fir trees and chew off the cones ... these hit the branches going tok, tok followed by a thunk as they hit the ground. :)

Yesterday we had swarms of midges outside ... in our case I think it had something to do with the spell of rain followed by warm, sunny weather again ... must have made everything hatch out! We've also noticed that there have been a lot more dragonflies this summer ... especiall...
