It certainly looks closer than that but no matter the distance ....... smoke spoils the air quality. It looks like it's getting worse.

The fire is really going strong now. I've seen a couple flames above the smoke in the last few minutes. It does look like it's headed down towards the lake so maybe if they have good fire breaks on both sides of it, then it'll burn out once it hits the water.

MDD, it's great to be there in summer, but when the cold dark Swedish nights creep in, not so entertaining.. but, the Swedes always have ways to entertain themselves and others during this period.. I think you would enjoy to find out for yourself.. :-) Go there, do that!

What do I think.. well.. first, I don't understand why they call it "Storgatan Street" while the name "Storgatan" means Big or main Street. It makes it a double meaning street... :-)

Mira the boat that you posted a picture of is a pontoon boat. Because it seats quite a few people on the same level, it's considered either a family boat or a party boat. Most have a table on one end with bench seating around it so family can picnic on the boat or party goers can...
