Mira .... she worked until 11pm and the joint had not been sold .... it was its "sell by date" so she got it at a fraction of the price. It was cooked next day and was excellent. We eat well from stuff that would otherwise be dumped. :)

Mira .... the meal was delicious. The joint of beef was over a kilo in weight before roasting. After the meal my daughter had just enough left for her cold beef cobs tonight. :)
