LOL MD ... it's apparently a relatively recent term ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boutique_hotel When my daughter visited SF in March she stayed at the Hotel Astoria, which is classed as a boutique hotel due to its location and themed rooms. :)

Mira .... I have to admit to a "blind spot" about this "boutique" hotel thing. I only ever heard of hotels until just recently. I'm guessing the "boutique" ones cost a lot more. :D

I'd love to find out exactly where this place is and what it's called ... not many clues available from the IP, etc. It looks like a "boutique" type hotel.

Mira ..... we have always eaten ugly fruit and veg. I used to grow a lot of my own stuff and it doesn't matter two hoots what it looks like. This "use by date" caper is ridiculous. Vick's vapour rub ..... that you don't even eat ..... has a date on it and gets binned if not sold....
