OMG what a difference! Mira ..... I thought a robin was a robin .... never thought of them being different. I have to say that the European robin is more suited to Christmas cards. LOL

NQ .... I have robins and they can be quite ferocious. I also have wrens which are a lot smaller but are quite capable of out-witting the robins. I do agree with you .... it's a shame the robins are so bossy. How many eggs are in your nest?

It is isn't it MD! I was looking for info on how long I have to put up with my mother robin sitting on her baby--I'm getting tired of mom and dad chasing away all of my other birds ! I only have another week to go before I can toss her nest and unhatched eggs off the security lig...

trix according to what I've read, the eggs take "about" 30 days to hatch after incubation starts. Incubation normally starts a little before the last egg is layed. The 5th egg was laid on 6/2. So going by that the eggs should hatch somewhere between 6/29 & 7/2 or give or take a...
