LOL....i dream of all the free time i will have without hubby around...he did say the other day that he would leave but says he has nowhere to go!

I noticed earlier that the males were preening along the right wall and the females were on the left. All of them were concentrating. Maybe they are trying to get rid of the fluffy bits. I'm glad y0u saw Molly drop some food in .... I don't like to think of them being too hungry.

Sigh ..... cleaning up as you go means you don't have too much to do at the end. The "end" for my hubby was his plate of food. All the mess he left was of no interest to him. I took it on myself to do his washing up because his idea of washing up left bits of crap all over everyt...

i have thought of putting the rubbish bin in front of the cupboards between the sink and stove..and he never would think to clean as he goes!!!

I swear that my hubby used every pot and pan available...... such a pest to wash up after him. And yes ..... mess everywhere. But come on Trix ...... 3 feet away is a really long distance. :)

Oh dear ..... I thought potatoes had to be portion controlled. It must be difficult being diabetic. My ex-daughter-in-law sent hubby a bar of diabetic chocolate. He ate it all in one go. Not long afterwards he made a mad dash for the toilet. Apparently the sweeteners they use can...

i remember my hubby would come in from work and ask what was for dinner...whem hubby cooks you know what he is cooking because it's all over the floor and counters and in the sink...mind you...the rubbish bin is 3 feet away!!

my hubby started doing his own meals too, but would top it off with the meal i cooked...his downfall are potatoes!!!

And by the way .... he was diagnosed in 1999 so I had 10 years of non-cooking for him but doing his washing up.

Trix .... I didn't do his meals. Once he was diagnosed with diabetes I wasn't trusted to cook anything. I think he thought I would try to poison him. Meanwhile ..... after preparing and cooking my own stuff ..... I don't have diabetes.

more likely it's because he snarffed the food down fast!!! my hubby puts a huge forkful of food in his mouth when he hasn't even swallowed whats already in his mouth...classy guy!!!!
