Thanks Mira for the heads up on Goth weekend. I've spotted atleast a half dozen so far, all in long black coats and long black dresses. Two of them look like they were dressed in 1800's garb.

I never use the rotate controls, they're not very user-friendly. I find using the mouse makes it a lot easier to keep under control. :)

Thanks Mira ...... I had a little success with the mouse but definitely need some refinement. When I click on that rotate symbol .... it goes berserk ..... makes my head spin. There must be a knack to it. Practise, practise. :)) Trix ..... and now I have my fingers crossed. :)...

MD, you can also use your mouse to rotate the image in streetview (rather than the arrows) by clicking and holding down then dragging the left-mouse. And use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

Thanks Mira. :))) It's the "rotate" bit that I find difficult. I only want it to move a little way but it goes from one extreme to the other ..... a bit like me. LOL

Bummer MD. :( To be fair, I have got used to the new version now ... it just takes a bit of practice. It is kind of weird though, as I can still get classic google maps here at the moment ... maybe they're shutting it down earlier in Europe than America for some reason.
