Well my culinary delight of the evening was lettuce and spread cheese. I have fresh lettuce arriving tomorrow so I had to finish off the old one. I can't say it was thrilling but it filled a gap. I had a cornetto for dessert.

Food and drink is taxed in France. Spanish tax is much lower so we used to cross the border to fetch shopping. We also used to fill the car fuel tank with diesel in Spain. I miss those days ....... having to take your passport to fetch shopping. LOL!

Forecast to rain for the next 8 days ..... every day!!!!!! You're lucky not having to pay tax on food. I spent £21.21 in Lidl. Without tax it would have been £16.47. That's £4.74 tax. I could have spent that on chocolates. LOL

Good morning trix ........ I've just paddled home. It's French week at Lidl so I had to go ........ even though rain was forecast. The journey out was ok but coming back was very wet. But it was worth it. :D How are you feeling today?

When we get to our age .... we can do as we like ..... none of this "growing old gracefully!" When my son was about 18 I caught him smoking it. Cheeky monkey offered it to me! Eventually I grew some. Did you know you can dry it gently in the microwave? :D
