That's what you call broadening your horizons. I first went to France, without parents, when I was 15, Spain when I was 16 and Italy when I was 17. All the rest are a jumble. It's so good for youngsters to go out and see the world. I'm envious of that month in Japan. How love...

Hi stargzr ...... that wasn't the first word I thought of. LOL!!! You are probably right about renovations but not so long ago we watched as they painted the ceiling during the night so I'm puzzled as to what they might be doing that needs privacy. The camera is almost 15 feet...

Well my culinary delight of the evening was lettuce and spread cheese. I have fresh lettuce arriving tomorrow so I had to finish off the old one. I can't say it was thrilling but it filled a gap. I had a cornetto for dessert.

Food and drink is taxed in France. Spanish tax is much lower so we used to cross the border to fetch shopping. We also used to fill the car fuel tank with diesel in Spain. I miss those days ....... having to take your passport to fetch shopping. LOL!
