Forecast to rain for the next 8 days ..... every day!!!!!! You're lucky not having to pay tax on food. I spent £21.21 in Lidl. Without tax it would have been £16.47. That's £4.74 tax. I could have spent that on chocolates. LOL

Good morning trix ........ I've just paddled home. It's French week at Lidl so I had to go ........ even though rain was forecast. The journey out was ok but coming back was very wet. But it was worth it. :D How are you feeling today?

When we get to our age .... we can do as we like ..... none of this "growing old gracefully!" When my son was about 18 I caught him smoking it. Cheeky monkey offered it to me! Eventually I grew some. Did you know you can dry it gently in the microwave? :D

Hmmm. I think I might do pasta this evening. I've never tried corn chowder. I've just looked at several recipes. Very adaptable ...... you can add, potatoes, fish, chicken etc .... or salt pork. I've just read that you never add smoked salt pork.

Good morning trix ..... we only reached 67 yesterday ..... it's 64 and raining. Another 7 days rain forecast. TV dinners have their uses. Shame about the chicken. I have the occasional Tesco cottage pie, only 15% beef so it's practically vegetarian. LOL!

Good morning MD....the temps actually got up to 81 yesterday. I slept off and on for about 12 hours...I hate that but hopefully it will pass. it was a frozen chicken TV dinner thingy...bad chicken!!!!
