LOL! My son's an excellent cook and he washes up properly. I can't take any credit. At school, when it came to options, he chose domestic science instead of woodwork! He's been cooking since he was 11.

that does sound good!!!...i'v been wanting to make roasted winter veggies...maybe next week!! son is visiting tomorrow...he will have soup...he is our personal garbage disposal !

Trix... that's so cold. We've had a beautifully sunny day but it's been chilly..... I can't say "cold" after your temperature!!! My latest soup has been parsnip with curry. It might sound strange but it tastes lovely..... and it's very warming.

pot roast was excellent...he puts way too much stuff in his soups...can never tell what kind it is...i'll pass!!! snow refuses to melt...maybe cause our high temp. for the day was 10F (-12C)...

So pot roast went well..... good! Washing up always brings you down to earth. Shame about the soup...... unless it turns out to be a good one. :))) We had home made pizza. How's the snow?
