NQ... I remember it very well. It wasn't quite dark and there was a bright yellow outline around each person, a distinct line.

THIS IS ALL WRONG...Reading is in the South of UK..not Scotland, it should be dark now, and it's not, and a Temp reading is 21 degrees...it's about 8c...mmmmm

Mira I've never seen the Anna hummingbird before but then I wouldn't have as long as they're on the west coast. They're a really pretty bird, I especially like that 2nd dark red headed hummingbird at the bottom of the page.

Mira... interesting link..... only on Thursday night I mentioned blue cheese and port sauce! I find it delicious with steak or deer so I'd imagine it would go very well with elk... not that I've tried elk... yet! And I agree with you about something different at Thanksgiving. Ot...

NQ, our Rufous hummers do migrate south for the winter, but we also get Anna's hummers who don't migrate. They are more noticeable here in winter, as they tend to keep a lower profile during the summer months when the Rufous are around. :) http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/ann...
