Deacon... a very interesting article. So Garret A Morgan invented a breathing device that he used way back in 1916 to rescue 2 people, It's a shame that officials stopped further rescue and recovery. What an awful way to die. And what an amazing feat of engineering in its day.

I am in the western suburbs, not far from the lake. I often go to the lake and "five mile crib" is in plain view. It is claimed to be five miles outshore but I do not know from exactly where.
