Trix.... that's miserable. I looked on the map and I'm farther north than you are. And I could catch a ferry to Norway, but that's by the way! LOL
Carol... we usually get lots of rain but we've had none for a little while. Again... we think we are lucky! LOL

Exactly....... and the traffic is normally like this. You can imagine what it's like when there's an accident. Now I live in a place where the roads and lanes were built for horse and cart, narrow and winding. :D
Here in sunny Devon it's 68 deg with humidity at 81%. The 68 is pretty good for us. This time last year my central heating was already on. They have forecast another week of round about this temperature so we think we are lucky.
When I lived in the Midlands this junction was not far from our home.
