Trix-This is what boxes are; "Yu no Hana" which means hot water flower,the water from the hot springs is directed thru the boxes which leaves a mineral sediment in them(mostly sulfur) which is dried and sold as a powder.

if this is a new cycle, its about to pop, and the mountain side is going to jump If not, the cycle is about 10 minutes generally before it starts up again
