trix I have never heard of burying afterbirth. Is it suppose to give you good luck or your kids good luck ?
Merlow decided to get a nap in before giving birth so I have a feeling it will be early morning before she starts giving birth.

hi N Q ...we put our kids afterbirth in the freezer then the freezer died...we were going to plant trees over them in the spring...i have never considered myself lucky...lol

I'm not sure if any of you would be interested in great danes being born, but if you are then Merlow at SDP is showing extreme signs of nesting(tearing bedding apart) so they think she will have her puppies tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Trix, I think it's lovely the way they cuddle. It would obviously be impossible to do with several chicks but this little one is being spoiled..... and loving it!

Gosh yes. Earlier I looked at a south Carolina cam, all dark clouds and miserable. Then I went to Tybee, just that bit further south and it didn't look half as bad.
