I suspect those may be more for families with kids, or the elderly. LOL, as a Brit who's witnessed Germans sunbathing first hand, they're notorious for hogging all the best spaces and laying in direct sunlight for hours until they turn a nice shade of boiled lobster. ;D

MD it's always fun looking but it's more fun buying :) This is an art festival, there are paintings hanging on the outside of one of the tents. Atleast today looks like a nice sunny day compared to yesterday's downpours.

Mira I understand the canopies over benches, but I rather recline on a beach then sit up which is why I find these benches so strange !

LOL! They are seats with canopies ... very popular on many European beaches. Everyone enjoys sunshine at the beach but if they're like me, they prefer to sit in the shade and enjoy the view, rather than frazzling into a piece of crispy bacon. ;D

MD I'm done ignoring you ! I've gone through over 300 webcams and got rid of 45 dead cams, kept another dozen dead cams that I hope come back at some time and found that YIPPEE, Opentopia got rid of the baby crib cam which was way too invasive of a webcam !

Help--somebody tell me what those things on the beach are ! They look like small benches with a covering to keep the sun off you but isn't the reason to go to the beach is to catch some sun.
