Click on the START button (lower left corner). Right above it will be a box with a magnifying glass icon next to it. In this box tye 'paint'. Then hit enter and the paint program will start. From ther just hit Ctrl V or paste and your saved clipboard image will appear.

I just tried that myself Trix and am having the same problem ... I can't see where the image gets stored. Perhaps it's because you're trying to copy a live image instead of a jpeg or bmp file?
