No it's the bank and the police station! The large hotel Kviknes is the creamy one behind the greenery at the far left.

N Q, where I live there are houses that are hundreds of years old and they are painted, pink, blue, lemon...... In nearby Totnes there is even more colour.

Jane I'ld love to spend some time there, it's so beautiful ! Is the white building to the left of the church with the blue flag next to it a hotel ? For the last week I've seen tour buses park in front of it.

By the way, during the two weeks we were there (at the start of their season) 24 different nationalities were represented by the hundreds of visitors to the church. One day we had 70 people sign the visitors' book!!

We have just spent two weeks in Balestrand looking after this lovely little Anglican church. It is a magnificent setting and we loved the experience. We shall look forward to coming back in the future.

trix they must of unplugged the webcam right after they hauled the last of the stuff out of here. Both this and the bedroom cam are down now.

LOL ... if my vegan daughter walked in there she'd call it a slaughterhouse. Personally I rather like the look of the place ... I don't mind game meat and crafts made from game, provided it's hunted humanely and sustainably.
