BTW, I've changed my screen name. I was reading what MD said & suddenly realized what a bad idea it is to put your full name. I know better than that so I don't know what I was thinking!

Mira Bilis, I've seen lots of those singing fish all over the place and they all sang "Don't worry, be happy." Even in France. Beats me why they were invented. Apart from the money they bring in!

MD I have seen a couple grey squirrels with red tails and one black squirrel with a grey tail so there are some mix breeds around here. With the albinos I think both mates need the same mutation of a certain gene so I think it's doubtful that I'll ever see a pretty black squirrel...

That's good NQ ... and I agree that selective culling is sometimes necessary to keep a herd healthy.  I've had venison and bison before but I've yet to try actual elk meat (although the herd that comes in our garden is safe from us ... so beautiful.)  :-) That fish over the fire...

Maybe we should have left it as the guy that answers the phone when someone's fallen over! LOL!!
MD · Mar 10, 2014 23:39
What a pretty squirrel. Where I'm living now, there are only grey squirrels and in France there were only red. N Q, with your squirrels being integrated, I wonder if there will one day be mixed-colour offspring. We shall have to wait and see.

I'm glad he has to dust his heads.  LOL! I like venison although I've not eaten it in the UK.  And I think I'd rather be shot than starve!

I have grey, red, black and albino squirrels in my backyard--we're racially integrated :) Here's one of the albino's staring at me as I took his picture. http://s7.postimg.org/brhn1lzqj/albinosquirrel_Medium.jpg

MD yes my BIL job is to dust his heads :) Mira whatever he kills he does eat. Him & my sister actually like venison, the elk meat was new to both of them but they both said it was good. Around here there are so many deer that if they're not thinned out before winter they end ou...
