Mira I've never seen a blacktail, only white tails up here in Wis.
I live right in the middle of a city but I luckily have a few acres of woods directly behind me where we used to have a herd of deer that would go through it in order to reach a woodsy park across the street from...
Cute! They look a lot like the deer who visit our garden. I'm assuming these are Whitetails, if this is Iowa, rather than the Blacktails we have here. :-)
Mira I do agree that the house/car really don't look Russian, they look more American to me except the sun is up at the wrong time for the USA. The amount of darknest and the time of darkness makes this one confusing.
If it was light out during the same hours as somewhere like t...
I have to add ... as a former dog owner, there's nothing quite like wide open spaces out in the countryside for walking one's dog ... but this place is a very nice compromise for those who have to travel and can't take their dog with them. :-)
I don't know where this home is but it is 6:12 pm here in Indiana and pretty dark outside but this home still has sunlight coming thru the windows and skylight so I'm thinking somewhere on west coast US or Arizona, etc.
I check out several doggie day care cams but this is the first one that the people actually seem to like dogs and take the time to pet them and talk to them. I like that.
I don't think they ever stop milking cows. I check in here at 4 a.m., 5 a.m.,6 a.m., 10 p.m.and now almost midnight their time and the cows keep on coming in to be milked! It must be a big operation.
NQ I'm also unsure about this one ... the house, garden and car don't look very Russian (whatever that means, LOL.) As MD said, the car number plate would be the best clue, if we can ever get a good close-up of it.
Hi N Q. I love the link, pretty Christmas tree. I think you could be right about Russia. My first thought, yesterday, was Norway or Sweden because of the style of the building but I think it's too dark for that. Maybe we'll get lucky enough to see the car number plate at some tim...
This has been one of my favourites since I first found Opentopia. Ages ago, I took the Google man for a walk round and was quite surprised not to see interesting shops on the right side of the road. Maybe things have changed since the Google pics were taken.
Beautiful scene.
I'm now thinking this is Russia. It was light out at 5pm Russian time here and by 7:30 their time it was dark.
At the same time at 5:30 Russian time this Russian cam still had day light

and by 7:30 Russian time it's as dark as this cam.
Yes, lovely cam. The last botanical garden I visited was at Ste Maxime in France. I saw my first and only strawberry tree. The fruits look like strawberries but sadly, the taste was nothing like!
