I looked at the Blacktail deer when you mentioned them before, they look cute but that Elk must be fascinating. I see they grow 6 to 10ft long. That's huge!!!!!!!!

Hi Mira Bilis. I don't think it's Japan. When I check in early, Japan is completely dark and this isn't. I'll make a special effort tomorrow. Earlier I was looking at a map of time zones and I felt that this was east of Finland. And then I gave up.

NQ, Blacktail Deer are indigenous to the Pacific Northwest ... I don't believe they live anywhere else in the USA. Here's a Wikipedia article ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-tailed_deer (Very common on our property of 11 acres.) We also have Roosevelt Elk visiting occ...

I said on the 13th maybe Norway or Sweden but it goes dark too early. It was dark at 14.40 and Drammen (Norway)was still light.
