I can't make out that truck name but I don't think it would help me much anyway, as I have no clue about looking up truck itineraries.  :/

Hi Mira Bilis, I'm sure the link is the correct JOHN N, I've just watched it manouevre out of its berth. I've looked at the cam quite a few times but haven't been able to read the number plates on any of the vehicles.

Hmmm ... I tried looking up the John N on the Marine Traffic website but the only viable boat said it was out of range, although the pic of the John N it brought up did look very like the one that was here (that photo was taken at Ocean City, Maryland.) http://www.marinetraffic....

Now I see the JOHN N.     Capt. Frank is to the left. I've no idea what the weather would be like in the Mexico Gulf but this looks a bit damp........

You'd mentioned your quarter of a mile drive so I thought your home was safe. Crims are after the easiest way to get something for nothing and a long drive is a deterrent, even to someone with a car, too much risk involved. I love the thought of the "live shooting range!" Puttin...

I looked at this cam as it panned and noticed a vessel named Capt. Frank. I Googled and there are lots of them but I found one "currently in port at Corpus Christi, Mexico Gulf." There. I've done my bit! Over to the experts to discuss the merits, i.e. pick it apart. LOL

That's good to hear MD. :-)  Don't get me wrong ... our crime rate in this rural area is also very low ... we share a long driveway with a nice couple who own guns and know how to use them ... they have a sign posted on the entrance stating that this is a "live shooting range - e...

I'm lucky (or unlucky, lol) enough to live in a place where everyone knows everyone. You can't have any secrets but on the bright side, the crime rate is incredibly low. We have a free magazine delivered every 2 months, containing a crime report. I've just chosen a magazine at ra...

Why would she want to remove it? Possibly a cherished memory of the fun she had when she was younger. I'm not a fan of tattoos for myself but don't mind seeing them on other people. I have to say that there are some unfortunate looking sights in the UK, just a glimpse at Jeremy K...

Indeed.   About 90% of our lightbulbs here are energy saving ... we always leave a light on when we go out and will be home after dark.
MD · Jan 10, 2014 19:56
Mira Bilis, you are absolutely right. And, as Susan always leaves the light on when she is at home, it would be very silly to turn it off while she is away.

Hi Mira Bilis, yes, it's beautiful. It looks like someone has driven across the ice.
