This is looking more like down hill skiing now with those large snow drifts. It doesn't look like they're keeping this trail/road gloomed for cross country skiing this year.

It was pointed out to me that the lighting is causing some things to look purple, however they do seem to wear a lot of purple clothing, dark purple, and other colors in the room are normal colors so my purple theory holds up, I think.
