I think the posted time is based on GMT. I am apparently in the same time zone as you, so I understand the surprise.
Aside, I think I just saw them looking directly into the cam moments ago. That was a bit of a surprise.

Thanks for the info. Before I began to comment on here, I went back to the very first comments on The Bench. If they are to be believed, a lot more than canoodling went on!
About the streetview updates, I've taken the little google mapman for a walk and one minute he's been walk...

YAY!!! I found what pier this is. It's the HUNTINGTON BEACH PIER!! lol i live close to here and can't believe how long it took for me to find which one this is. There are so many piers up and down the coast, just in this area alone.

According to hubby, that road was closed due to a landslide (landslides are fairly common on certain roads around here, after long periods of rain.)
Glad you like the views ... I agree ... the Port Townsend cam is great for panning. :)
I hope Google updates streetview in this...
