What a lovely memory to have. And to still have the snowshoes. I have lots of good memories. I've also had some bad things in my life but it's the good memories that are foremost in my mind. That's what keeps us cheerful. :D

When I was 10 years old I won a blue ribbon in the snowshoe race at our winter carnival.....it's in my blood! Back then the snowshoes were made with leather strappings, etc., and mine were sized for a child. My daughter now has them hanging on her kitchen wall. :)
