Ps ....... without doubt the track will get swamped at Dawlish. There's a lovely home-bake shop there. You can buy pies and cakes still hot from the oven.
It's dropped to 50 and raining heavier. You've got rain ..... we've got rain. Where on earth does it all come from? LOL
How are the aches and pains today?
LOL....I weighed over 230....then I found out hubby was cheating and I threw up for a month or more but, man....did the pounds ever start dropping off...I'm down to a happy 175 to 185 :)
The scales ...... typical. I gained weight over Christmas and New Year so I put the scales out of sight. I have a full medical in a couple of months so I'm going to have to make the effort to get down to last year's weight. But not yet. :D
I put junk food on my grocery list but don't know when daughter will get it.
I found my weighing scales today only to hop on to nothing....needs a stinking battery.
My mom used to say I was a proper little madam. LOL!!!!
Definition:
British informal a girl or young woman who thinks other people should do exactly what she wants. a (proper/right) little madam: Their youngest girl is a right little madam
LOL....no history in my blood!!!
Though I did at one time think an ancestor of mine was arrested for being a witch in Salem Mass. but later found it to be a different family :(
Gotcha. Amazing to be connected to Standish ..... one of the first settlers ....... that's real history in your family. I'm sure my pedigree wouldn't be very interesting. LOL
I'm sure daughter won't mind the commuting. She'll be better having the weekends off work.
daughter w/kids and 1st born son are from my 1st. hubby.
I think daughters new job will end up taking the same amount of time to get to because she will have lots of curves and hills and a narrow road.
Good for daughter getting her new job. Is it the same sort of thing? Nearer home? Farther away?
The snow was a couple of inches which disappeared after 2 days.
44 and sunny here.
And now to the bit where I'm confused. Daughter with kids is a descendant of Miles Standish on her...
